A grill in the sun is a grill you don't use.

Put a roof over it and it becomes the room people end up in. We build the cover and the kitchen as one job, so nothing gets bolted on as an afterthought.

Questions

How much does an outdoor kitchen cost?

It depends on the grill, the stone, the counter and how much you want under the roof. We don't have a signed job behind a published number yet, so we price it at the site visit instead of guessing on a web page.

Why build it under a cover?

An outdoor kitchen in full Texas sun gets used on the three nice weekends a year. Under a roof it gets used all summer. The cover runs $119 per SF, and designing both at once means the vent, the fan and the lights land where the grill is.

Can you run power and gas?

Power, yes. A dedicated GFCI circuit with two weather-rated outlets is a flat $1,450. Gas lines go to a licensed plumber and are quoted separately.

Do you supply the grill?

You pick it, or we'll recommend one. Appliances are not in any published number because the range is too wide to be useful.

What about venting the grill smoke?

Under a roof, smoke has to go somewhere. We plan roof height, open sides and a vent hood where the grill needs one, before anything gets built.
